LOCS: Loving Our Creative Spirit – A Celebration of International Heritage
Join Underground Atlanta in a celebration of culture and history this July complete with a spectacular showcase of unique art and live music. The 17th Annual Heritage Arts Festival will be held Wednesday, July 4th – Sunday, July 8th . Embrace your creative spirit this holiday weekend, as you peruse amazing collections of fine arts from world-renowned artists. With more than 50 national and international booths featuring one-of-a-kind African artifacts, jewelry, beauty products, and more – this festival will leave you and your family in great spirits.
Festival Hours:
- 10:00 am – 8:00 pm (Wednesday & Thursday)
- 10:00 am – 9:00 pm (Friday & Saturday)
- 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Sunday)
Emerge yourself in culture, as you interact with local and international artists in the Heritage Arts Festival’s Artist and Vendor Markets. Interested in learning how to create your own art? Drop by one of the Festival’s live, on-site demonstrations and let your inner artist out. Craving great music? Come and enjoy live blues in Kenny’s Alley, as well as more R&B, gospel and blues performances on two additional stages. And, that’s not all. Film screenings, stage plays, story-telling, art exhibits and book signings will also be taking place throughout the Heritage Arts Festival – so be sure to stop by.
